How can I sell my story?

If you’ have a story to sell Kim and Nicola will get you the best possible deal and publication in the real life magazines and newspapers. Perhaps you’re looking to sell a story about something  incredible that has happened to you? Would you like to share your story with others to raise awareness? Phoenix Features was set up by two qualified and highly regarded journalists; Kim Willis and Nicola Skinner. In the last year alone Phoenix Features has helped hundreds of women, couples and families sell their stories for cash to women’s magazines and national newspapers. Phoenix Features retains the personal touch often lost by larger news agencies. This is because Kim and Nicola aren’t just sales people, they are well established and experienced journalists too. This is why we believe not only will you get the best deal for your story, but also the best service.

What do I need to do to sell my story?

If you are interested in selling your story the first thing to do is to give us a call or just drop us an email.  

With just a brief outline of your story we will tell you immediately whether we can put it forward for publication. We will also be able to tell you  how much your story is worth.  

We will then have a chat with you, by phone or in person and at this point you can tell us all the details of your story for either Nicola or Kim to write up and pitch to editors for the highest offer for you. Once your story has been written up we will read it back to you to make sure you are happy with the content. You will then receive payment within 4-6 weeks of publication.  

It’s as simple as that, so if you think you have a story that others would find interesting, want to set the record straight on something you have been through, raise awareness, or say thank you to a special someone, then get in contact with us..
